Stadtmusik Weil am Rhein (DE)

The 3-Länder-Stadt Festival will be opened musically on the Rathausplatz stage by the Stadtmusik Weil am Rhein. It was founded in 1839 and, with around 40 active musicians, is one of the town's most important associations.

In addition to marches and classical brass music, the Stadtmusik is characterized above all by contemporary modern pieces. The repertoire includes serious and entertaining works that also showcase the solo qualities of individual musicians.

With its conductor Kai Trimpin, the orchestra performs at many concerts and official events in the 3-country city throughout the year.
