La Brigade du Kif (FR)

With an energetic mix that they themselves describe as "ska 'n' roll", the French band La Brigade du Kif will heat up the audience at the 3LSF. The six men in their prime have really stirred up the festivals and concert halls of France in recent years. Their sound is a mixture of ska, rock, swing and punk.
 
Making people dance is in the band's DNA. In addition to rhythms and melodies, the lyrics also play an important role. However, the lyrics are not intended to protest or moralize. The formation is much more concerned with offering the audience a little cheeky food for thought.
 
La Brigade du Kif has already shared the stage with Tryo, Les Fatals Picards, Java and many more. Their latest album was released in 2021 under the title "Open Bar". It was produced by David Bourguignon, a former member of the legendary Manu Chao Radio Bemba Band.
 
The Narbonne-based group led by singer, guitarist and composer Mika Riff is playing in Weil am Rhein for the first time.
